US President Donald Trump has pushed Ukraine to choose new leadership, saying Volodymyr Zelenskyy should broker a settlement with Russia to end the war.
Trump also blamed Zelenskyy for climbing fuel costs in the United States, warning Kyiv to cease hitting Russian oil refineries he claims will supply American fuel.
The comments came on 10 October 2026, the same day Britain's Prime Minister held a separate phone call with Zelenskyy, according to the UK government.
